Blenko Glass | 9 Bill Blenko Drive | Milton Blenko’s 11th Annual Festival of Glass event will be held at the Blenko Glass factory on Friday, August 3 & Saturday, August 4. During this event, visitors will have the rare opportunity to view our skilled artisans at work as well as be able to participate in a variety of classes related to the glass making process (fees apply & sign-ups begin on Monday, July 9 at 9am ONLINE ONLY on our Eventbrite page: https://www.eventbrite.com/o/blenko-glass-company-15709994523 Class space is limited. Spaces will fill quickly so if you are interested be certain to sign up early. We suggest you enroll as close to 9am EST on July 9 as possible. Due to the cool down process items must go through, finished items will be ready to pick up beginning Friday, August 17 in our Visitor Center Gift Shop. (if you participate in windchime class, please call before visiting to pick up your item. Due to the kiln firing process, windchimes may require more time). Items can only be held at our gift shop until August 31 so please make arrangements to ship or pick up your items by this date. Huntington WV's scenic Ritter Park is the setting for the largest car show in the Tri-State area. With over 350 classic and custom cars, bikes, and trucks nestled among the trees, it is a great way for the whole family to spend the day. As you stroll through the park enjoying the vehicles, your senses will be stimulated by various food vendors, great Oldies Music, dance competitions, arts and crafts vendors, and the sights and sounds of children participating in the activities provided for them. Harris River Front Park | Veterans Memorial Blvd & 10th St The Jewel City JAMboree is a multi-day music festival showcasing regional and national Bluegrass and Old Time musicians. The #JCJAM4 that will take place Friday and Saturday, May 25-26 at Harris Riverfront Park in downtown Huntington, will feature a half dozen regional acts on Friday and then on Saturday feature a half dozen national acts. We invite you to come to Downtown Huntington as we collect a dozen of the area's top hot dog businesses, and put them in one location, working together to raise money for the children in our region under treatment for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. We welcome you, your family, and the family dog to come to our annual WV Hot Dog Festival to enjoy contests and competitions, live music and entertainment all day, displays, prizes, demonstrations, crafts, shopping, car and truck shows, and to sample all of these wonderfully delicious hot dogs (as much as you can eat!) in one location for the entire day at Pullman Square!
