17 West End RESTAURANTS 17 Roccos Ristorante An intimate authentic Italian restaurant Rocco Muriale has been serving an extensive pasta-based menu and wine list since 1977. Best known for lasagna Roccos has drawn attention of everyone from The Food Network to regulars who drive from all over the Tri-State region. Boasting a deep menu including spinach ravioli rigatoni and capelli marinara chicken parmigiano lobster langostino sea scallops marinara as well as appetizers salads and desserts Rocco says dining is an event not just a meal Roccos is open for dinner on Sundays and Tuesday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday hours are expanded. Reservations are not accepted. Central City Caf Nestled in one of West Virginias largest antique districts the Central City Caf is one of the west ends most popular eateries. The restaurant specializes in homemade soups sandwiches and desserts. The Caf is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday. Be sure and check out the antique shops along 14th Street West and see where your bread was made since the Cafs neighbor is Heiners Bakery one of the regions largest commercial bread makers.
